2000 Ford Ranger 3.0 FFV V6 Spark Plug Change
2000 Ford Ranger 3.0 Flex Fuel V6.
Just changed my original spark plugs after 148,890 mi, LOL. There maybe some confusion about which spark plugs to replace them with so I hope the info below will be helpful.
The user manual states to use Motorcraft AGSF-22PP to replace the original spark plugs AGSF-22PG (cylinders 1,2,3) and AGSF-22P (cylinders 4,5,6). The new part number as confirmed by calling the Ford dealership is Motorcraft AGSF-22FM alternate part number is SP-500. O'REILLY'S Auto parts carries them.
Also the spark plugs gap is 0.042-0.046 inch for the 3.0L and 0.052-0.056 inch for 4.0L.

Welcome to the forum
Yes, factory used two different spark plugs for passenger side and drivers side
This is because of Ford's Waste spark system
Spark plugs are wired in series, so on one side the spark went from center to tip, but on the other side it went from tip to center, reverse spark
So spark plugs on one side got worn tips, but on the other side worn centers
If you are like Ford and buy 100,000+ spark plugs at a time, then you save some money by buying Single Platinum plugs, 50,000 with platinum tips and 50,000 with platinum centers.
But if you can't buy that many then either get regular copper plugs or Double platinum, don't get 6 single platinum because 3 will wear out the same as regular copper
