2007 3.0L no start
I've been having some issues with my ranger, every now and then it would fail to crank but it was always intermittent. All the dash lights would still come on and radio would work, I figured it was my clutch position sensor, so I replaced that. Now it won't start at all no dash lights or anything, any help would be appreciated.

No lights with key on reads like a battery cable issue, remove and clean BOTH cables to see if you can get lights back on
Turn on head lights see if they work, they don't need key on they have power all the time
If head lights work but no key on lights then check fuse 9 in engine bay fuse box, 40amp fuse
Clutch pedal switches very rarely fail, just FYI
Once you get lights back up, check fuse 21 in cab fuse box, 5amp, its for START circuit
Under the dash where clutch switch is located is also the ignition switch, bolted to underside of steering column above brake pedal
The key just slides a rod when you turn it, and that rod moves the ignition switch into its 4 positions, ACC, OFF, RUN, START
When you were working under the dash could you have moved ignition switches wire harness around?
Wiring harness is bolted to the switch so shouldn't unplug just by moving the wires
For the No Crank, once dash lights are working again
There is a THEFT light on the dash, looks like a padlock
It should flash every 2 seconds once power is restored, key off
With key on that light should come on and then go OFF
If it flashes rapidly then PATS(passive anti-theft system) has been activated, and no crank and no start
If you leave the key on and wait 45 seconds it will start to flash a 2 digit code number, 11 to 16, get that number
