2008 Ford Ranger Squeaking

Hello,
I have a 2008 Ford Ranger.
There is a loud squeaking noise when I turn the steering wheel and when i push down on the front of the truck.

What causes this?

My first thought is GREASE, how long since you, yourself, checked the grease fittings, make sure that grease has come out of the joint. ?
Even if you take your truck to a shop for grease, SOMETIMES they don't do it or just don't do a good job !

Next might be the Shocks, then you can get in to U-Joints on a 4x, Coil Spring, if you have them, can squeak in their seats, body bushings, and even wheel bearings... !

Tell us about your truck, that might help too !

I used to use a product called "Rubber Lube", not sure if it is even available any more BUT get something to lube up all your bushings and see if the squeak goes away.

Check if all of your joint have grease. good places to start.

I had the same problem on my '99 4x4. Turned out to be a bad ball joint. Upper were greaseable, which I did,
lowers were not. So I just replaced complete upper and lower control arms, which after 220,000 miles needed to be done.
Oddly, the new set has greaseable lowers, but not the uppers.
