I believe it is for the RSC... Cause it uses the brakes to help keep you from rolling

I already explained it... lol

And I must say, I was wrong. I still can't believe there is no literature on this, officially from Ford anyway, since it's a huge deal. Or maybe it's just a big deal to us and not to the rest of the world. But here it is... rear disks on a 2010 Ranger.

looks to me like it's a modified explorer set up... now it makes me wonder why they ditched the 31spline ranger axle?? or maybe it just makes be think that RSC is the reason they ditched the 31spline. now that both 7.5 and 8.8 get the same brakes, which makes them directly swappable with eachother, 31spline are not. Looks like they rotated the brake mounting flange too.

I was wondering the same thing, although it is probably cheaper to go aftermarket.

you could....but DAMN the price wouldn't be nice. It's alot cheaper and alot easier to do mustang or Cobra brakes. Damn near a bolt-on process. And based upon the diagrams straight from Ford posted above, it would NOT be doable to a 09 and older axle because of the brake mounting flanges on the axle. Check out Dangerranger01's project log for disc swap on 28spline on the cheap(pretty much).

It may be a '09 build page....'2010 is now up as of at least yesterday when I was on it. None of the pics I saw yesterday had the chrome shifter or the Fx4 gauges. The Fx4 LI/LII hybrid package(called simply Fx4 Off Road) with manual still got the chrome shifter in '09, now that the Fx4 package is gone, I assume the chrome shifter is gone as well.

OWNED by morgue anne! lol.

I'm still leanin towards that being a generic pic....it's even got the vinyl floor of the Fx4. OH! And it has an incorrect cubby below the radio bezel. There's the aux input and a keyed hole on 2010's...I'm thinking curtain airbag shutter offers? Ford 2010 site ain't letting me blow up the gallery page. Makes me wonder if XLT's get carpet or vinyl now...hmm...trip to the dealer to solver my grille inquiries and the vinyl floor on an XLT...

*sorry Trent if you don't like my nickname for ya! let me know i'll edit it!
