95 XLT clutch question

Hey ya'll! Long time lurker, new member/first post.
I have a 95 xlt 2.3 manual, a while back (5 or so months ago) I was driving home from work when my clutch pedal started getting more difficult to press, pretty quickly it got to the point I had to put all my weight (to be fair, I'm only 150lbs lol) to press it down, but it seemed like the clutch was stuck half engaged. It was still drivable, but you had to barely touch the gas to get it moving without the rpms skyrocketing. It took me approximately a mile to get from 0 to 60mph.
I made it home, figured it was late so I would deal with it the next day, but the following morning everything was back to normal, and it hasn't happened again since!
Any ideas what could have been the problem?

Check the line going into the trans that supplies the slave. They like to pop out. And if it didn't go completely out it can work it's way back in. And next time do not force the pedal. It's stuff because the line seals off when disconnected. So fluid can not move. It's a good way to hurt your master cylinder. Oh and if that happened. Try bleeding the clutch. Or it might not be much longer before you have even more issues
