96' No power to 50a ignition fuse

Just replaced the ignition housing and ignition actuator arm and still not getting it to fire by key. I have tested the starter by jumping the solenoid and it cranked. However I started poking around with the multimeter and found that I have no power in the fusebox to the 50a ignition fuse. I guess I'm wondering what else I can test upstream from that fuse box.

In a 1996 Ranger the engine fuse box is powered by one wire connected to Starter Relay on inner fender

Starter relay will have 2 larger posts, one will have Battery Positive cable connected to it, AND at least 2 other wires
Unhook either battery terminal
Remove the wires and battery cable from the one larger post, clean them, then reinstall
You should see the one red wire that runs from starter relay post to the engine fuse box, this one wire powers ALL the fuses in the whole vehicle

Yes, engine fuse box Fuse 1, 50amp, supplies all the power the ignition switch in the cab, thru ONE yellow wire, it feeds 12volts to 4 terminals on the ignition switch

Here are the 12volt distribution diagrams for 1996 Ranger

What if the I/P fuse panel 50a has power? It seems that my problem might lay in the box itself.

I/P is the cab fuse box, there would be no 50amp fuses in cab fuse box

If Engine bay fuse box fuse 1 has 12v then test a yellow wire at the cab ignition switch under the steering column
If no 12v there then the Yellow wire is broken/disconnected somewhere
There should be only the one connection at the Firewall, the larger round connector under the brake booster

But yes, could be broken connection in the engine bay fuse box

If the one Yellow wire from engine fuse box to ignition switch was broken then NO DASH LIGHTS would come on with key on

No Crank with key in START is more likely to be Cab Fuse 24(10amp) or Neutral safety switch issue
