ABS light not working

First post here. I have a new-to-me 2003 Ranger XLT 4.0 4x4 (87k miles). I'm working my way through some issues. I picked up a code reader and FORScan and pulled up the following codes that recur after clearing.

Code: P0500 - VSS sensor circuit fault.
Code: C1095 - This code is set when the hydraulic pump motor has an open, short to ground or battery.
Code: B1676 - Battery Voltage out of range
Code: B1483 - Brake On/Off Switch circuit failure
Code: P1816 - Transmission Neuteral Safety Switch Circuit Failure.

The ABS codes lead me to believe ABS isn't working, but the ABS light is NOT on. In fact, it looks like the light isn't working since it doesn't light at start-up during its initial test. So could the bulb simply have burned out? Or is there something else that might cause that warning lamp to fail? I see on parts sites reference an "ABS Warning Lamp Relay", but I don't see such a thing listed in my fuse diagrams. It looks like the ABS module has failed (or at least its connections/wiring). (Also some 4x4 codes in there, but one thing at a time!)

Welcome to the forum

Check fuse #11, 7.5amp, in cab fuse box, that powers the ABS light, ABS Module Grounds the bulb to turn it on

Also fuse #9, 7.5amp, that power brake pedal ABS switch sensor

Yes bulb could have burned out but that would mean it was on for a very long time, or previous owner "fixed" ABS issue by pulling out the bulb, lol.

Fuse #14, 10amp, is ABS modules power

P0500 means computer is not getting speed pulse from OSS(output shaft speed) sensor

So your speedometer should not work, if thats the case

In 2003 the computer(PCM) gets the OSS signal from transfer case(4x4) output shaft, it then converts it to 8,000PPM(pulse per mile), that speedometer expects, and sends it out to speedometer, 4x4 module, and cruise control

ABS has separate speed sensors, on rear axle and each front wheel

Thanks! I'll check #11 and #9 fuses. I checked the fuses for the ABS module but not the others.

And, strangely enough, the speedo is working fine, which makes the P0500 code a little puzzling. I might just replace that sensor anyway since it's pretty cheap and easy.
