back to the front reciever..

i have a 99 4x4. and i just got a 9000lb winch.. im looking for a front reciever.. and i have only found ONE site that has them for a 98-00...
http://www.reese-hitches.com/frontmount_main.htm

all the other ones go up to 97, skip 98.99.00, and start back up at 01

are the frames different? bc actually one of the sites said they had one for a 2000-03 would that fit my truck? i have been under the impression that the 98-00 were basically the same

Thanks

i went to a metal shop with measurements and they made it for me...it was fairly cheap and perfect. tell them its a receiver and they will make sure its strong enough.

you wont be able to buy one that will work nice with a body lift

im just gonna get em to get it to bolt/weld up wehre the tow hooks went..

also, are rear-recievers as strong when it comes to winching? i noticed they were rated to only like 3500-6k lbs? that would defeat the possibilty of getting an old rear reciever and making it fit..
