Brake and Signal Lights Not Working After Hooking Up Trailer.

Hi, I have a 2001 Ranger XLT 2wd, 3.0 step side. I just went to uhaul and had a hitch put on and got an 5x8 trailer to make a trip from Georgia to Texas. Before I left uhaul the lights were all working and now my headlights and high beams worked but my flashers and brake lights do not work on the truck. When the trailer is hooked to a friends truck the trailer lights work fine but my trucks don't. I changed the flasher fuse or whatever underneath the dash by the brake pedal and I checked my fuses on the side of the dash near the emergency brake it blew the #2, #3, #13, #21 the first time then started the truck and it blew the #7, #10, #13, #21 fuses the second time and I heard a pop sound on the "flasher" fuse by the brake pedal. I called roadside assistance and they could only verify the trailer worked fine and they came out and determined the trailer was fine but they wouldn't work on my truck. What could be the problem with my truck and solution. Also, the lights for the flashers don't come up on my dash and my driver side marker light bulbs busted as well. Thanks

My best guess is that they messed up your plug and tied it to where there is a short somewhere. You'll probably have to pull your plug apart and look.
