Cleaning AC Evaporator, both sides
I haven't pulled it apart to check yet, but I strongly suspect my AC evaporator coil is gunked up. I have found several articles & videos about how to remove the blower motor and clean the intake side of the evap coil. Seems easy enough. But I'm wondering if there is a not too difficult way to get access to the output side to clean it WITHOUT having to disconnect the lines (and thus evacuate and recharge the system). Perhaps from behind the glove box or passenger air bag?

No, no easy way to get to the back side of the Evaporator
It is a hard plastic box it is in with a heat refection cover material
You can buy that heat reflection insulation to replace it
Pull it off and use a Dremal to cut a hole big enough for your hand, or bigger
Clean Evaportator
Duct tape the cut out piece back into place and then cover the box with new heat reflector, no sign of the intrusion
