Fuse issue

Need some clarification. Have 55 watt fogs, 9.2 amp draw. 10 amp should be fine I’ve read, but after 5/10 mins. It pops every time. Wired 14 ga. which again should be fine with 10 amp I’ve also read. Other posts say 15/20 amp with 14 ga.
I’m using switched power in fuse box, when wired to battery I’ve forgotten too many times they were on so AAA was on speed dial. Thanks

You are most likely running into the problem of heat in the bulbs causing wattage/amps to go up, 55watt rating would be if bulbs were being cooled and not in a housing
Try 15amp fuse

A Fuse is there to prevent a dead short from causing a fire from a wire melting
With a 9 amp draw you should use a fuse with at least a 50% higher rating, so 13.5amps(15 amp) minimum

14ga wire is OK for up to 10ft with 15amps
