Headlights Flickering?
Headlights Flickering?
Ah yes yet another odd occurance,
So I have noticed that whenever I start my truck the headlights flicker until I open the hood and press on the driverside running bulb housing. Now I bought a pair of aftermarket CG DRL Bar headlights so they have a plastic cover over them so all i have to do is press on that and the lights return to normal. I tried putting some electrical tape on the actual housing, the manufacturer did not make the housing click into place and it fixed it, but i started her up today and it did not work!
Now if its just how it is then ill man up and just press it down when it happens but there has to be a solution
Thanks guys!

Check or redo the ground wires for the system
If any lights flicker or dim at idle, but nor above idle RPMs then most likely cause is the alternator has a failed field so can only produce 2/3s of it amps
It can work that way for a long while, just don't idle too long, lol
