Help! Electrical system killin me

So my battery is giving me crap and i think its just aout damn near dead. hadnt started in in a couple days and yest mornon started up just fine. then leaving work nothing. adjusted battery cables a lil and started right up.. got home tightened them up and started it a few times no problems. got in this morning to go to work. lil hesitation on the crank but started fine. went to grab a bite for lunch. and NOTHING!! super low voltage, no radio power. zilch. not even clickin to start. now lately i have been noticing my speedo will randomly flicker up and down between 20-30 mph at a redlight. wtf??? any ideas??

Sounds like an alternator problem if the speedo is jumping.

Make sure your cables are good, since "adjusting them" helped for a while. Might want to replace them, they tend to corrode under the insulation near the battery.

When you replace the dead battery, drive it to an AP store that will test your battery/alternator for free (most do this). Go from there. You could luck out and just have a dead battery. I vote bad cables from the description. A bad cable can ruin an alternator / VR.
