HID using new housing question

I have done a bit of searching and prefer to replace the housing with one designed for the HID bulb, although more expensive i want to do this once and correctly avoid potentially blinding others (if that might be a reality) and not have any hassles with LEO's, anyone use or have any knowledge on these;() im going with the 4300K - Crystal White for a OEM look and not the ricer look lol; TIA Rob.

Those are standard halogen housings. They aren't designed for HID's

Hmmm, well i thought they looked just like what i have now, but was figuring that somthing was designed differently inside that maybe wasn't showing in there description, they certainly make it seem as though ther are setup for HID's when they package everything together.
Thanks for the headsup, know of any other choicres out there?
Rob.

If this is the case, then your only option is a true retrofit.

The Retrofit Source - Morimoto Mini D2S 2.0 Bi-xenon is one option. It's probably the easiest to work with our factory housings.

I opted for the high-end FX-R 3.0 Bi-xenon Projectors - but they have a more complicated (and expensive) install.

Thanks Logan, i was looking for a direct fit replacement HID, not that there's any thing wrong with your setup, just not willing to nor do i have the time to build it from parts.
I have these ACA units installed on my 04'vette they were pretty much plug n' play with some very minor adjustments, i was looking for something similar for the ranger too.

I with you Rob99, i would like to see them on the vehicle and see the light output too.

I like the look of them but if the light output is off or low then the money is spent for nothing.
