Ignition coil pack questions

Has anybody gone to a hotter coil pack, as compared to OEM?
If so, have you noticed any difference in throttle or fuel economy?

It's a tricky question but generally it would be no, a higher output voltage coil wouldn't change torque output(power) or MPG if OEM coil was working as it should

If you are having misfires that are spark related then a new coil(coil pack) would really help, OEM or higher voltage

If you raise compression then "hotter" coil would be needed, but the power gain would be from the compression increase

No reason not to try a "hotter" coil pack, anecdotally people feel an increase in power anytime they "upgrade" a part on their engine, that's just human nature, whether there was an actual increase is not the point
