How to Turn Signal Switch

Need to find instructions, and step by step to changing my turn signal switch on a 1987 Ford Ranger. Any insight or websites would be greatly appreciated.

I do not know when things changed or if the Switch is the same as a ’95 but the ’95 was easy.
It is a Mulit-function Sw that bolts in, just remove the steering column covering and look see.
One connector, a few machine screws and out it came.

Again the 87 mat not be the same but start taking it apart and see.

Hello everyone, if you could please help me out here.

We have replaced the sockets, turn signal flasher, bulbs, checked the ground wires, put a new light switch, checked the T and replaced it, and replaced the turn signal switch. However, the reverse lights and turn signal lights aren't working.

When it's parked, it works perfectly but once on the road driving, it will shut off. It seems that once we put it into drive it blows a fuse. We checked it out and fixed a wire but now it blows a fuse each time it's put in, and not function. It's a 1987 Ford ranger 4x4 2.9l. Any ideas?

Thank you for your help and time.
