idk if this has been said before but ill say it again for people who dont know

corrosion on the copper was the problem ,i cleaned the switch it self with a little hydrogen peroxide on a tooth brush
just thought i throw that out there , ive seen other people on here with the same problem hope there's are as simple as a little cleaning
