kc wiring question <Redneckstone>

kc wiring question <Redneckstone>

im getting a set of 150 watt kc daylighters with no wiring. do i need to run a fuse and if so what size for 2 lights. a wiring diagram would be nice too. thanks.

umm u need to run two fuses in the harness, thats what is in the factory harness and ur goin to need a relay also, i will put up a diagram once i find it if Zach dosnt get to it first.

now secound just do yourself a favor and order the wiring harness http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...=egnsearch.asp

because by the time you buy connectors 12 gauge wiring, relay 2 inline fuse holders, fuses you will have spent the $30... now are you going to run all 3 that you bought or just the 2?

just the 2 with the 3rd as a backup. and i just ordered stone guards (does that count as having them covered?) cuz i know in michigan you have to have them covered. i think ill buy the harness.

correct they dont but 99% of the cops dont know that lol. mich is stupid i have been pulled over for other things before and my lights WERE NOT covered and they didnt say **** hell 80% of the time i dont cover them acully 99%

buy the harness its worth the $

also the 150W you cant leave the stone gaurds on them for a long peiod of time because it will melt them just like this

how long do they have to be on to melt the stoneguards? just a guesstimate. oh and it did order the wiring harness. if i take rough grit sandpaper to the chrome will regular paint adhere to the chrome?

um no the 3amp fuse wire coming off the switch is to light up the switch when its on...dur...lol...it just needs to go to a constant 12volt source like cig lighter or something like that stuff
