Torn Boot

my boot on the tie rod is torn. does this require imediate attention or can i get away with it for a little while? any body know

How much junk do you drive through everyday? if you go thru mud and sand and water and all that bad stuff, then yea, you'll need to replace it sooner. you should be able to hold off for a while if you don't go through anything like that daily, and if cash is short, duct tape is a quick fix.

I basically just drive on the street daily mud every weekend. ill put some duct tape on it for now thank you!

im bumping this because Id like to know the procedure for changing the tie rod boot?

take boot off put new one on

Inner Outer?

Replace the tie rod end. Comes with a new boot.
