i undid my spark plug wires and put in new ones. well somehow i messed them up and now i dont know were there supposed to be. i trying what auto zone said to do and didnt work so i put back on the old ones and now the truck will not start up. i dont know what to do. its a ford ranger xlt 1998 4.0 v-6

dan, go to www.therangerstation.com in the technical section, you'll find the firing order for your truck.

 

you just messed up where the wires go from the coil pack to the plugs. what they said....find the fireing order and you'll be able to figure them out. If i don't know the order, i change them out one at a time.
