Not charging and charge indicator not working , even on startup

Our Rangers were made from 1983 thru 2011, there were changes over the years, lol
So good to include the year of your Ranger and engine model with questions
2008 Ranger 3.0l engine?
Check Fuses 9 and 10 in cab fuse box, pull them out, to get a good look
Also unplug connector on alternator and plug it back in to clean connection
Turn on the key
Should have Battery Light on dash if fuse 9 and 10 are OK
Battery Light is the ON/OFF switch for alternator, so no Battery Light = no alternator ON
