Just finished replacing my brakes, bled the brakeline and made sure everything was set.
So, my brakes work great
But, when going 0-10MPH I randomly get a vibration on the brake pedal that sounds like a solonoid pump (like the Washerfluid pump)
It doesnt 'feel' like its affecting the brakes at all, it does it whether im in Drive or reverse.

It doesn't bother me too much, but I just wanna make sure its not gonna break anything, Though it is rather loud, the only time you cant hear it is when windows are rolled down (you can hear it over the radio)

Any idea's what it could be? It never did this prior to working on the brakes...

 

Known problem with later model Rangers.
Generally is a dirty or bad sensor that reads the front wheels.
Do a search in the driveline forum and you'll find this is a common problem.

 

I searched the forums, can't seem to find it, then again im not exactly sure what to look for...
What causes the problem? Could I get a link to one of these threads?

 

Did you replace the front rotors when you did the brakes ?
Also check the front wheel bearings for any play.
The front rotors have a special ring mounted in them that is read by a sensor.
New rotors that are not manufactured correctly or a worn wheel bearing will change the distance between the ring and the sensor causing the sensor to read incorrectly at low speeds < 10mph.

Yeah I replaced both front rotors, the wheel bearings are both brand new.
Is there a fuse that will disable this sensor? or is it better to replace the rotor with a proper ring?
I tested brakes at high speeds (50-60mph) and it doesnt pull to the left or right at all, so changing a rotor again just because of a sensor seems kinda not worth the time.
