just thinking now, is there a green/orange on the headlight switch module? i may have been rushing and connected it to that.

 

i solved the problem this morning in 2 mins, i went to check to see if i hooked the green/orange wire to the wrong module, and i decided to check the strip connector (i was having trouble clasping them) so i decided to make sure it was tight, and squeezed it harder with pliers.....tada. the map lights came on....should have doubled check that before i got frantic...thankx for all the help guys.

 

Ha ha! No problem. I've done that myself, lol.
