Oil light on dash question

Oil light on dash question
Hi all. I have a 2017 3.2 Wildtrack. When the ignition is on there is no oil light visible. When I turn the key, still no oil light. I’d expect to see this lit then go out immediately. Truck is only on 24k miles, fully serviced. No issues at all. Just wondered if what I’m seeing is normal. Is there a trick to illuminate all dashboard lights? Would really appreciate your input before calling a dealer. Cheers guys.

Welcome to the forum
We are in North America so could never get your Rangers here, ours were smaller, 1983-2011
Also no Diesels here, petrol only
That being said most car makers, Ford included, do a "bulb test" on dash lights with key on, usually just 2 seconds, so with key on all indicator bulbs should come on, and then go off if they are not needed
2017 should have all LED bulbs, so burn outs are less likely
Ford did have 2 "oil" lights over the years
Oil Pressure, red
Oil Level, yellow or orange
If you have an Owners Manual look up what the non-functioning light is for
Australian Ranger forums are a good place to look for info on your model, they got the same T6 Rangers you did in the UK, and English language
