No not at all. The PCM is getting the temp from a sensor in the MAF. (at least in my 06 that's where it is) The PCM will adjust for it.

The problem comes when feeding the MAF / temp sensor hot air.
btw, I've noticed that the "tuners" out there change this setting to 110F. I've raised it even a bit further so as to maintain tip in throttle response when driving in heavy / slow traffic.

We've been waiting for you to post some science Rich!!!! Your statement which is WRONG goes against the principle that a thermostat OPENS to COOL, CLOSES to HEAT!!

Once again, a thermostat DOES NOT CLOSE TO ALLOW THE COOLANT TO COOL IN THE RADIATOR!!!!

One more time, if your theory was correct, thermostats STUCK OPEN would be causing OVERHEATING problems, which they don't!!

So, lets see a reference to your SCIENCE!!!!!

I've given two references that backs up what I have said!

I would have a lot more respect for you if you would admit you were wrong!

I've really had enough of you guys bickering over such stupid crap, most of which has nothing to do with the topic. So now this is locked and I think I'll get the giant forum vacuum cleaner warmed up for this one too.
