Pats reset / anti theft

Hi, I found another ranger for cheap 2007 4.0, has anti theft flashing. The fuel pump kicks in, anti theft blinks , engine won’t start.
is there a way to bypass this system ?? Sin seeing all these rangers getting turned into parts because of this.

IIRC, PATS disables the fuel pump. So I'd say your issue isn't PATS.

+1 ^^^

And never ever seen a Ranger parted out for that, its a very simple system to repair
But no, there is no bypass, wouldn't be much of an anti-theft system if a thief could bypass it

You can use a laptop with Ford software to program new keys, but takes 45-90min, on purpose, to do that, most thieves do NOT want to sit there for that long, lol, but that is a way to bypass it, add new keys

It sounds like the PATS system is working properly but the key does not have a proper chip. You might want to ask questions about the key.
