Having never bought a security system for my truck I am in somewhat of a fog about which ones are the best. I know no security system is ever going to be fool proof.

If I could find one that would let me, some mornin' find the corpse of some Bastard that made an attempt to steal my truck I'd buy one of that type. But that is a bit draconian. Another option might be to just find their hand left hanging on the door handle but, again, that too is a bit much. But lightin' their *** up with about 100,000 volts delivered at a small amperage would be more to my liking...you know...something that would blast a thief about 25' from my truck...just enough to make him want to steal someone elses truck.

So I'm looking for suggestions on what some of you guys have as to what a good security system features and any experience you have had with them..
