Horn @ battery reconnect

Horn @ battery reconnect
I was replacing bad bulbs in the cruise control pods in my 2002 XLT (see sig) and I accidentally tugged on the ribbon cable for the left pod and pulled it out of the harness/plug. after removing the seven pins and soldering the wires back on to make sure they stay in, I replaced it. Now when I try to reconnect the battery, I get a solid horn. I initially thought it was an alarm (I swear the first two times the horn when on/off/on/off/etc). Now that I won't wake up my neighbors, I tried unlocking the door with the key and then starting the truck, but the horn sounded solidly (not alternating) the entire time and didn't stop.
Did I screw up the airbag module when I replaced it? Did I short a wire in that harness? Is it possibly an alarm still (I didn't think my truck had an alarm - just "panic")?

ok, I disconnected the CC harness at the other end and it stopped, so it must be a short in my impeccable repair job. let that be a warning to any of ye who take it upon themselves to try to unplug the CC pod.
now.....does anyone know where I could find a replacement of this cable or if I'm stuck fixing it again?
EDIT: I'm an idiot. seems the problem is in the cruise control pod itself. I probably squished an LED connection against another wire. hope that'll fix it.
EDIT 2: It turns out that one of the pins wasn't getting all the way in and making a connection with the harness. the problem seems solved, but I'll only assert that once everything is back together.
