Pull your MAF sensor out (I think it unscrews) and spray the circuit part with the cleaner. Let it dry before putting it back in and firing your truck up.
your gonna need tamper proof torx bits to do this

Ah yes, forgot that part. Thanks.
What I meant was....
When your rpms drop, is your air compressor running? My rpms drop sometimes at a stop when my a/c is on.

yeah 15 times per side with the straw connected to the can and air dried for 15-20, i hear your not suppose to touch the filaments in there at all...... i'm about to re install my old IAC and see if that made the difference.....i'll let you ppl know if anyone cares to know
ok so check that...... It still goes down but now not past 500rpms and not nearly as often. I think their was nothing wrong with my original IAC (just needed to be cleaned) and the MAF Sensor just needed to be cleaned. I'm going to drive around for a couple days w/ the original IAC and if it works the same as it does w/ the new IAC i'm returning the new one and this job will have only cost be $19 to fix instead of $90+
