Turn signal relay

Alright, I'm just the messenger boy here, so please don't shoot me.

Anywho, my dad was driving home last night in our Ranger (1998, 4.0 V6 automatic) and noticed that the indicators for the turn signals weren't lighting up, or even making noise. Upon further inspection this morning, I saw that not only were the blinkers not working at all, but the hazard's were dead too.

I Googled the problem, saw that the most common issue was the signal relay thingy, double checked the fuses and wires to rule them out.

Problem is, I cannot, for the life of me, find the relay anywhere. I have read soooo many forums and sub-forums on the matter, which makes things worse, because people keep saying different things, which none of them even work.

To sum it up... Help!
(Pictures would be amazing)

Welcome to the forum

Parking light relay is not involved with turn signals or hazards, but it is in Relay Box 1 with other relays, it is above gas pedal area under the dash

Turn and hazard share the same Flasher but use different fuses
Fuse 10 and fuse 21 in cab fuse box

They also share multi-function switch(turn signal stalk)

I would suspect Flasher or multi-function switch, in that order
