wiring a flash light charger?

wiring a flash light charger?
so i just bought a rechargible streamlight. tring to figure out how to hard wire so that it only charges when the truck is running or the key is in the acc. possition.

can anyone help?

On my Sirius satellite radio I just took the 12v plug apart and hooked it up to the 12v switched behind the radio. Of course I had to fuse it also....

Go in and tap into something that you can only turn on while the key is on.

the 12v outlet is always on, and i think the lighter is as well. can i tap into the radio?? maybe something coming out of the fuse panel? fuse the charger end for sure.

I have tapped into the radio power for my strobes.

I tapped into my amp..believe it or not. I just did that so that I can have power when the truck is off, i usually charge my flashlight at night after camping

Black/yellow on the radio harness is 12V swicthed power. I used it last week for my tranny temp guage.

what size wire is it? a streamlight wont melt its right? what size fuse?
