Got a few things together to do the Odometer Swap BUT I stopped short when I found the '00 Odometer is only 8000 miles higher than mine; '03 = 96K, '00 = 103,600... !

IS IT WORTH IT ?

To me it wouldn't be worth the hassle or risk of breaking something, on a 16 year old truck 8,000 more miles isn't going to change the value of the truck, or raise any questions about a mileage discrepancy?

I'd just do it and never mention it.

 

I'm with you but my ADD kicks in and I start second guessing myself; just needed to hear what members thought !

It will take me from 96K to over 100K... 3600 miles on the '00 Odometer.

I will try it out first and see how things work, once I put it together I probably won't want to take things apart.
