if you go to http://fiberglassforums.com you can find lots of people that have tons of experience with console design. You could pick up some of the nessesary materials and fiberglass your own that would work around the 4x4 shifter. I found this place a little while ago and after looking around i think i may try making a center console after i get a couple of bucket seats. if ya have imagination you can make pretty much anything outta fiberglass. just an option, something to be considered.

You can always go to walmart and pay $5 for the one that wedges between the seats. It has two cupholders and a center little area that i usually keep cigs in. unless you have buckets, then you're screwed and have to go the hard way.
