I recently bought my 06 supercab and like most used vehicles it has it's issues, and while most of them have been easy to fix, my cupholder issue has not. For whatever reason the previous owner removed them. I've searched google and ebay with no luck, and have even resorted to trying the dealership, but the computer only seems to find the style that is mounted under the dash, not the ones attached to front of the seat like I need. I've checked junk yards, but I havent found a ranger newer than a 2000.

So my question is, does anyone know of a resource where I can find these things? Not having a cupholder is getting to be a real pain in the ****.

I am not sure I know what youre talking about. I have never seen cupholders that mount to the front of the seats.

 

Is your truck an auto? You might be able to replace the floor console with one that has cupholders.

I see... I dont have the 60/40's and I have never been in an 06.

 

Those cup holders are in the 04's also

 

dont know if theyll fit right, but my dads old 250 crew cab had cupholders that looked like that for the back seat, they just popped on and off

 

04 and up with 60/40's are like that

Yep, those are the ones, and if you have the smokers package it has the cupholder/ashtray insert...had that in my 02 F-150...great for change...

 

I have "pre-stained" sport cloth, so no biggie... I'd get new covers, but this is the one vehicle I dont worry about the dog in!

 

Maybe a junkyard? I had those cupholders but they could not hold a drink up right at all when you turn. But its better than no cup holders. Mine were in my 04.

 

You're probably right Farwar, continuing to search the junk yard might be my only bet at this point. You'd figure there would be more totaled rangers than I've found, but there isn't....

 

What does the floor console look like under the dash? If its the one that dosen't have cup holders and your not dead set on having the ones that hook to the seat I would be up for a trade.

 

We might be able to work something out. What color is your interior?


Oh and as an update, Talked to McCombs West here in SA and they were able to find the elusive part, although in typical OEM fashion, it aint cheap! 51 bucks!
