Overhead Console with a Clock

Hey Everyone.

So I removed the stock radio in my truck and replaced it with a double din stereo. When I use the maps function on the radio, it doesn't show the current time...

Anyway, I have been thinking about adding an overhead console for a while now. Does anyone know of an overhead console that has a clock? I have found two so far:
1998-2002 Subaru Forestor
2003-2006 Kia Sedona

I don't think any Ford vehicle overhead consoles have a clock in them. Probably because they put the clock in the radio display.

With small battery powered LED clocks you could add it to any overhead, and add voltage regulator to replace battery power or just run it on batteries until you decide.

Explorer overheads have been put in Rangers quite often

Also check if there is a rear view mirror with clock built in, I know they have compass and temp for that(like overheads), not sure about time

I would definitely suggest the explorer OHC with a small clock installed to replace the temp display module. The OHC fits a ranger perfectly and a clock would make a nice unique touch.

Here is a tear down of Explorer overhead: Overhead console display fix | Ford Explorer and Ford Ranger Forums - Serious Explorations

Seems to me you could take out the Temp and Compass display/circuit board and put in clock without to much work

Subscribed to this thread. My single din is bad about not displaying the clock, and when it does, very small numbers.

As a temp solution, though, I suppose a cheapie walmart watch on the steering wheel would work for a bit until you come up with something better.

I haven't thought about replacing the temp gauge on the explorer ohc. I'll take a look at the breakdown. I wanted a clock that is hard-wired to the truck instead of battery powered but it should be pretty easy to wire a battery powered one to the truck. If I'm able to do it, I'll post the results here and a quick how-to later.
