post pics of custom OHCs

I am wanting to build a custom over head console to hold my cb and some switchs. If you have built one or have plans to build one post your pics and ideas. im looking for designs, styles, demensions, how its mounted, anything. I am planing to make mine out of light steel. and im thinking cut a hole in the head liner and screw it on and make the front a removable cover to acess the mounting screws. thanks

Scrambler has one. He used an Expo OHC, jutted it and put switches in it. I want to that also.

There was a recent thread about this. There were a few good mods and one completely custom that was made out of the housing of a home entertainment speaker! LOL.

all very cool ideas but not quite what im looking for. Im not going to use an explorer OHC because i dont like the looks of them and i doubt it will hold my cb.

All Expo OHCs though so not what you are looking for.

I personally do not like them either but since there are the only ones that bolt right up I decided to just stick with it and just add my own personal touch.

I mounted the Ex OHC in my 03 EDGE, then replaced the readout with a panel for four small switches and indicator lights, then added two switches for the indiviaul map lights, replaced the map lights with LED modules and chged the rear lid with some sheet alum to mount an Amateur Radio Control Head.

I can’t believe I do not have a finished photo, will have to get some.

I know, I know, all I have are the inporcess pics.
