Ultra Gauge meets Air Freshener

well after trying to figure out how and where i wanted to put my gauge i decided i liked it above the air vent on the far driver side...that one doesn't even blow very much air any way...so i was trying to figure out how to sticky tape it up there or something but its hard because of the uneven surface....so i started thinking and i was sitting in my friends garage hanging out and i saw an old air freshener laying on the bench..the kind that have th clips on them that go in the vents...so i started messing around and used a dremel and make the clip part fit in the holder thing for the gauge that ur supposed to use for the windshield mount....pretty easy just needs to be like "T" shaped at the end there it will attach to the gauge holder...well i got it all working and the wiring all ran and it looks awesome. you can tell that is how it is mounted and makes it easy to remove and put in other cars...any way it holds it pretty good and it doesn't even come close to falling out or any thing...but u can move it around, bu that just means you can change the angle of it to how you want. here are some ****ty night cell pics...i can get some more in the morning if any one is interested...

Looks good, I've got my SGII in the same spot. I used the vent mount from my GPS!

That's a pretty good idea. The window mount they sent is freakin' retarded.

Good spot for it out of the way and you can see it, looks good.

Now how about some “BLUE" Gauge Lighting… to match ?

well with 1998s i guess the speed doesn't go through the computer...so i cant tell MPH or any of the MPG things...but i have it set so it shows how much gas i have used since fill up so i can kinda calculate it in my head and get an idea....and i also have it showing how much fuel is left in the tank....since the stock one is so inaccurate....and my other gauges i have showing are RPM, throttle position %, coolant temp, air intake temp. and then one of the other screens shows all the MPG stuff so if i go in a different car i can view all that stuff....and also some people want it to show there accurate MPH....but it just reads the same thing your gauge does. it will correct it a little if your needle is off but it cant do any thing about tire size or any thing....so if ur really doing 70mph when ur gauge says 65mph the ultra gauge is gonna say 65 also....
