Sorry guys just to clear things up I was mistaken the second weekend of november is the 12th-14th
not the weekend of the 19th I hope that doesn't conflict with anyones schedule.

THE MEET IS GOING TO BE NOVEMBER 12TH THROUGH THE 14TH lol just so there's no confusion.

Well, I'm all moved into my new apartment and am ready to start saving money for the meet in Nov. and can't wait till the meet so I can get to meet some people from the club.

 

Ok change of plans. I can't make it the second weekend because the gf has a sorority winter formal dance so it looks like its either going to be the first weekend or the third. I would like it to be the first but let me know what's good for y'all. I understand its a month away but I figured we should start getting all of the information set in stone. So let me know what works for everyone.

We were talking originally having the meet on the weekend before thanksgiving and that seemed to work for every one so why don't we do it then? That would be the 19th - 21st. Any objections?

 

Any weekend is fine by me.

 

I think the weekend of the 19th - 21st would work for me because I'll be going to Austin to see my parents for Thanksgiving.

 

I just find out I have a thing on the first weekend of November, and since Andrew can't make it on the second weekend, November 19-21 seems like a good idea.

Got my truck back and I'm ready for the meet now. If everything goes as planned I'd be arriving at the meet place on Friday noonish. I wanted to buy the cover now and get it shipped to my place, so i wouldnt have to detour, but shipping cost is crazy expensive. lol.

 

nobody will be there until after work on friday. lol. its my dads place. we may as well just say lets meet up for some chow(or beer) on friday night, then meet up on saturday to do the BL.

 

Sounds good to me. Meet somewhere and grab a bite friday night. Does anyone have a preference. Are there any good local places?

 

lol...theres tons of good local places. i guess we need to find a roundabout place of where everyone is staying and then find out whats closest to yall.

 

I'll be staying at some cheap hotel near the meet place.

 

Ok well ill be staying off 1604 and bandera at my grandmas cause its fo free

 

Since i'm the foreigner here, i'll use my free time until the meet to visit the riverwalk. lol. Went there when i was a kid. it'd be cool to take a pic of my truck around there.

 

if you go out at night. visit howl at the moon. very cool piano bar
