For now, yeah Im in... planning on getting first to Laredo, sleep there, then head to SA in Saturday morning... I'll have to leave on Sunday, though 5+ hrs trip back home

City is called Monterrey. It's a 4hr drive to SA, too. but ill have to stop my immigration in Laredo and get a permit to cross the border, and idk how much time itll take me there... thats why i'm planning on leaving here on Friday...

 

Oh ok cool...ya those border patrol guys can be real ****** at times ...they were to me and my gf when we just crossed the border when we were in south padre

Man if im not mistaken it was monterrey....cause monterrey is just over the border isn't it....

 

Monterrey is a couple of hrs away from the border... if you went to south padre, maybe you went to Reynosa or Matamoros, which are in a different state than Mty...

 

Matamoros that's where we went....lol I was a little beligerant that day so my remembering skills are low for that day lol

Im about 15-20 mins south of houston....city is baytown....which is about 30-45 mins away from galveston

D4mn you al and your holidays....its ok im picking up your slack and working thursday friday and saturday....but friday and saturday will be double time....a whole wopping 60 bucks an hour ftmfw

Lol I work normally just 40 a week...monday-thursday...then anything after that is overtime...I get paid every week also...last week I got almost 800 for the week.....

 

Damn... i have to work 48 and i get some 300 a week... what you do for a living?

 

Im an instrumentation technitian at a chemical plant called enterprise....its kind of like exxon and shell

 

Cool... i guess they pay you well cuz you could die cuz of fumes inhalation and stuff lol. i'm a translator, and one time I got to translate a condom package.. rofl... i'm not kidding, man lol

 

Well its not the fact of the chemicals...its just that the natural gas industry is a high demand field....that craft that I am is the best out in the field...anything above me is like head of maintenence plant manager and so on....I max out at 40 bucks an hour...so its not bad....and that freaking hillarious about the condom

 

Dude came with a black bag and he gave it to one of the guys here and was like..."Can I have that box translated?..." and so my coworker took it out of the bag and was like wtf?... He gave the guy an estimate and we had to do it... i rofl that day...

I got to do some translations about oil rigs manuals and those oil companies pay whatever you tell them to.. one of my uncles worked for an oil company and he had a new car every 4 months... lol

 

Lol ya man the oil/ natural gas industry pays out the a$$

 

Well, at least you're doing something you like and you get some good money out of it...

My gf quit her job and then we started to do some changes on a house we'll live in pretty soon when we marry and sometimes I just dont have any money at all by the end of the week... shi**y situation.. i cant complain, tho its for the best
