I didn't really look at explorers. I went with a buddy of mine who was looking for tow hooks and he wouldn't stop *****in.
Doesn't the pcm get all screwed up if you swap in a standard?
I've found some on craigslist and such and if I did it myself, I've got the cash to do it now.

ill help ya swap it out. not sure how detailed a manual swap is but im sure we could figure it out. id say just swap in another auto and be done with it until you find a good deal on manuals..
