All the boxes are just from car parts I have installed in the past week. Got more coming. Truck runs much better.

I seen a YouTube video on Chrisfix on detailings a motor. I gave his tips a try and liked the results. Once I get the Back to Black compound on it should make a big difference.

Out of parts and out of funds so started with so freebie things. Drill and brush. Got a lot is scale off.

I want to detail my Radiator box. Outside had grime. Cleaned it with a green scrub pad. Come out nice. Added son CLR to soak inside the tank.

With an air hose I was able to get the walls cleaned.

Looking better now.

Should of seen all the rust water that come out. Eventually the rest of the CLR is going into radiator to help flush.

Tons more wire brushing of frame. Picture does not show what all is done.

Green scrubbie works for getting the dead rubber off of hoses.

Got a different brand of seal and that seems to have fixed it from leaking at top of tank. Degreased the Power Steering Pump to find where it has a leak. Hide or Pump. Started cleaning front axle to pre pare to start on brakes.

I recently replaced my wiper motor. Today I pulled the cover off to see why motor would not work. I tried to turn the rotor and it would not spin. Pulled the rotor out and some of the magnet come out with it. Not sure why. The motor did look like someone previous to me try beating on it like you might do on a starter. Who knows why it failed.

I’m not a part swapper but if a part is 30+ years old , I don’t mind. Usually a TPS is in need a of change. Maybe it is just me but I do think truck is a little more responsive. Still seems like it has to prime a while before starting. I suspect Fuel Pressure Regulator. Hoping it is here by the weekend.

Looking great, Terry! You’ve really coming a long way in just a few weeks. Really enjoyed following along with your thread. Headed for inspection this week?

I was really hoping to get truck legal this week but not going to happen this week. Not really a bad thing. I have plenty of material on hand that won’t cost anything to use. A few parts that I can install, a little trouble shooting to do and plenty if things to clean that will make a big difference. Past few days I have been wire brushing the frame and degreasing the bottom side of truck. Here it is up on ramps getting washed from below. A lot less grime and dirt under there now. About 2 hours of power washing.

I should have a Lower Radiator Hose coming in and a Fuel Pressure Regulator plus these parts to install. Plenty of cleaning and painting supplies and a few things to troubleshoot. There no lack of work to do. I still have the interior to work on. I’m kind of glad budget is making me get the smaller things done.

Two ore wires to chase out

Removed fuel tank to see where these wires go to. Got the harness all the way to the cab. Tomorrow I think I know where an entire harness is at the bone yard. Going try and get it.

Two more wires. Not sure what they go too Seat belt? Will compare on a salvage truck.

Canister unscrews. Has a filter that looks like an air filter that goes on a carburetor. I will post pic when it arrives. Never seen one of these. Not mentioned in Haynes Manual.

This is called a Single Function Fuel Reservoir./FuelAccumaltor. Basically acts as a mini tank for the High Pressure Pump located on the frame. No filter inside and do not open. Usually leaks when opened. Hermetically sealed from factory.

I found two of these in bone yard. One was broken. Hoping part number is readable.

I tried to find a harness in bone yard. I think these two wires go to my t case.

Here is a plug I found that has the other broke pice in it. Will look for a complete harness or just replace plug. Still some other issues with harness as to why I want to replace.

Two more wires I found broke.

Hit fuel tank and the reservoir v be ack in. Just need to add fuel clips. Harness back in. I want to order some harness clips to get it all mounted correctly. Mire wire brushing and frame painting. Getting tank back in was a real pain.

Seats are out getting ready for a hood cleaning.

Kind embarrassed to show interior, not from me. I’m getting it ready for a good cleaning. Carpet will get replaced.

Floor iswet. Windshield leaks. Here is just a vacuum. Plan on getting carpet out tomorrow.

Removed carpet as I will be replacing it soon enough. Very little rust in floor board.

Pulled the carpet and found this. It is Fuel Safety. Not sure why it was just not fixed corrected.
