A picture of how dirty the carpet is. I have already used my HF spray was her on it. To heavy to move at this time. Let some water drain off. It is a lot cleaner.

Another view. I will just replace this carpet. Just wanted to see how clean it would come. Not bad but to faded for me. I want new carpet look along with new looking interior. I have seen 5-10 year trucks this bad.

Cleaning and evaluating pieces I want to keep or replace. I will use interior paint on these. Done right it gives a new look to faded pieces. Has to be Interior Paint. Kick Panel and Rear Jump Seat Covers.

This piece will probably get replaced. A Kick Panel.

Pulled my dash for cleaning and painting. I will use a full black to prevent reflection.

I plan on going to Hobby Lobby and look for some new material for the den.

Not this one though. It is broke. Easily removed with 4 screws Another boneyard item for this Saturday.

Broke. But good for learning and studying on.

Just a note to myself I did do FPR

I pulled the Blower Motor and gave the fan a good bath.

I mentioned earlier about how the Cowls catch debris.

Yep, another view. I am hoping to pull Heater Core to get access to debris.

Removing the Heater Core did not give me access to the debris. I had to work what I could a little at a time out from the Blend Door. The Blend Door did not want to move due to all the debris.

Once I got some movement I worked with the air hose, propped the door to different angles and pulled it out with shop vac, my hands or the air hose. I also kept blowing air thru the Cowl to work any debris that got blowed up.

Here is the screen. I was not going to cut it out as it would only let debris thru out the whole system.

Just some of the leaves I removed. There was more.

I am going to replace the Heater Core as it is showing signs of wear.

Cleaned my vents with air hose, brush, tag and soapy water.

May not show but vent is so much cleaner.

Also did a lot of dusting on passenger side of dash.

Shifter Boot needed a good cleaning and black again.

I also did the Air Box, Lid, and hose. Mothers Black Trim Restorer works really well. I will be doing more cleaning tomorrow. Saturday I get some more parts from boneyard and part store. Cleaning is a good time filler when funds are tight.

Rear Jump seat cover prepped for Interior Paint

Kick Panels are prepped. I’m going to boneyard this weekend. May replace with better ones if I find them.

Dash panel done. If reflection is an issue I may go with a dull black.

went to the boneyard and got the connector for the Fuel Safety Switch. Previous Owner ziptied the Safety box and that did not fix it so they just wired it together. I am returning it back to factory.

Got me a new Heater Core. The replacement does not to appear as good as factory. I may look into having original cleaned and repaired.

More cleaning.I pulled the Blower Resistor to see what condition it was in and found more debris. I am studying about replacing the Condenser and will replace Condeser and sure I will find more debris

Got my Heater Core in. Fixed the Fuel Safety Switch.

Got Driver Seat in along with carpet. I will eventually replace carpet with new. Cleaned drivers side ventilation.

Everything under hood is done and detailed it some more. Still need to fix battery wires correctly.

Went to the boneyard and got better Kick Panels and a new Den for the dash for this truck. Center Consike is for my Bronco2.

I found this at the yard and Ford no longer makes it. So I got it. Still need to get some more things from the yard.

I hate jacked up wiring. One of the biggest problems with electrical is Stereo Wiring or Trailer Wiring.

Got factory plugs I am installing back to the way it was and will buy the stereo adapter along with a new stereo.

Thought I would try to help my Fash Oad look a little less cracked.

I tried expanding foam and scraping with a razor blade.

I was at boneyard today and found some hard to find parts and better Kick Panels. I really needed the brake lines as brakes are my next big focus. Mechanical and Interior. Bidy work will happen this winter. I used Interior Paint on Dadh and Tan Cubby Hole.

Catching back up…outstanding work on your interior! You’ve really freshened it up in there. Some nice scores at the bone yard too…good to have those brake lines and that fuel reservoir if Ford no longer makes them.

You’ve really got this process down and are moving right along. Molly must run a tight ship 😂

Thanks 86.
I have a lot of time involved already. Things are getting better with each step. I will eventually replace the carpet and that will make a big difference.

Molly helps keep things moving. Well… maybe not but she is a great pup.

My Wheel Cylinders bolts were rusty and stripped. Thus Irwin kit is great for rounded bolts

Socket set well marked

Got to try my home made cleaner. Works great and a lot cheaper.

I did get my new cylinders on and brake lines replaced b

I was hoping to get things where I could just bleed the brakes but no a full on brake job is needed. I will get parts Griday.

Here is one of my Jump Seat Panels just sitting. I will have the paint made a little darker. The jump seat is faded bad and needs painted. It will get painted when I get a new can of Interior Paint.
