93-97 fog light valance

i currently have the valance without the fog light holes. i would like to purchase this http://www.ebay.com/itm/93-97-FORD-R...-/180679439923 and put some of the harbor freight lights in the holes and put some tow hooks in. has anyone done this?

It's not the valance that's hard to find. It's the light mounting brackets that are the holy grail. You can fab some up but the bitch is the inside angle of the bumper. My 94 Splash has an A&A Specialties bumper cover and the fog light holes are right where the O.E.'s go. Mt fab job sucked so the lights aren't true.

I did it on my old '97. If I remember correctly I made a bracket out of angle iron and then bolted the universal bracket that came with the lights onto the angle iron.

What I did is got some towhooks off of a 2000 and took the top bolt of the hook and shved the bolt off then tool off the bumper bolt off and put it there and then made a custom piece to go to the frame for the other two bolts. I have been pulled out many times with them and they still are strong as can be.

My setup:
Fog lights: 2008 F-150 fog lights.
Brackets are a piece of steel bent and welded to the front part of the frame, then bolted to the flat piece that holds the light.

I have seen those hooks at Menards for like $9. I think they were the "Reese" brand.
