Im planning on customizing my 96 stx very soon. (Black line x complete exterior, 4 in suspension lift, brush gaurd, kc lights, wheels and tires) please make some sugesstions on what you think. also planning to convert it from auto to manual its a 96 stx with the 4.0 does anyone know what manual trasmissions i could use.

 

Your gonna line-x everything on the exterior? Everything else sounds good.

 

as far as tranny's, you can use any of the ones that came with that engine, IIRC it's the MR55? if I'm wrong feel free to correct me it's been awhile since I've dealt with that gen so I could be wrong.

As far as wheel/tires, I'd look thru some of the pics on here and see if you found anything that you liked, it'll kind of give you an idea on what can be done with yours.
