CB Mounting

Easily fixable ? Just drape the mic cord over their ear. Won't hit em so hard.

Yup, that and also if you adjust the little bracket that he mic slides into. If you angle it upward, its harder for the mic to slide out. But my brother didn't care, becuase he isn't he one sitting in the passenger seat.lul

Did he just screw the bracket down through the head liner?

prob through headliner into the metal on the roof but i'll let grant take care of it lol

l-o-l

He was wanting to put in a OHC, but decided not to, so there was already a hole in the headliner. He just notched it enough to fit the CB bracket in, and used some self drilling sheet metal screws to hold it in. Its a solid mount.

Made a custom bracket, and mounted mine here:

Been like that for about 6 months. Works well. You can't move your seat forward, but I never need to anyway.

This summer I might put this Uniden back into my Bronco and put a smaller CB in my Ranger.
