Inside cab lock box?
Inside cab lock box?
I am thinking out loud here so I apologize if this doesn't make sense.
I am trying to devise a way to remove the rear jump seats, and build a lock box that I can place behind the front seats that is safely secured to the truck, a somewhat hidden compartment for valuables, firearms (maybe an internal gun rack), etc... that could have a decent locking system on it, and perhaps removable so that I could replace the jump seats if I planned on having my nephews in the truck with me.
Has anyone done this with their truck? Can you provide pictures of how it was done?

I have one similar to this

Its just loose right now, in the Purple truck it slid under the seat perfectly. In the Green truck not so much. I'm thinking of pulling the seat and screwing it to the back of the cab.

Alex, That one is a bit small. I am thinking of an internal rifle rack for my rifles while heading out of town, that way they are still secured, hidden, and still have room for other stuff. The inside cab box would be the emergency gear (first aid, food, clothes, etc) while the truck box would be for tools and cables.
