I went with a single 12" DVC 2 ohm Boston Acoustic Pro series woofer in a 1.5 cubic foot box. I built the box to follow the seat back angle, fit around the rear ledge and span between the door trim and tunnel. The woofer faces down and has a gap of 2" to the floor. It played PLENTY hard and was nice, as I could put whatever I wanted on top / around it. As for sitting, you would have the other seat available.

if you want a reaalllyyy simple box
go sealed and dont try to conform to the curves of the truck.. but please please bolt it down
i used the drivers side jump seat mounting holes

..ummm if i still remember
in a few weeks ill be taking out my sealed box thats angled to the seats and conformed to the truck... its bigger than what you need (5 cuft) but ill try to get some info to you

or you can just go at it and have fun lol

well cvxs are round solobarics and they love air space. So a vented box is probably the best for 2 reasons. 1 the bass is louder and 2 it lets the voice coils breathe which is really important on kickers. I seen more people fry l5s and l7s in a small sealed ox then anything. They love having air to breathe and to help cool. So look for a big dual 12 slot vented box and you should be happy...ALSO dont forget to break the subs in for about a week before u turn the gain up!!!!!!!!!!!
