Next Mod?

I have been doing some thinking and can't decide what I should do next to my truck. Any ideas would be great appreciated.

I was thinking about replacing my front valance with one off of the ranger with the fog lights in it but my turn signals are in my stock valance ... is it possible to turn my corner lights into turn signals?

I was also thinking about a leveling kit.

I have been doing a lot of reading on various threads and was wondering if anyone new what was all involved in a leveling kit for a '97 mazda b4000? it has i-beam 4x4, so does that mean that i just need to get some spacers? do i need longer shocks? would it be hard to do myself? any and all advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Thomas

I don't have a 97 so take what I say with a grain of salt,

since you have coils it should just be coil spacers, yah. Or you could replace your coils with slightly bigger? And get a better ride too with new coils maybe

Will the fog valance off the ranger fit on to my '97 mazda? I am thinking that they have the same front bumper?

I believe most parts from a Mazda to a Ranger are interchangeable. Just remember most parts. But I'm sure the the corner lights will fit and you won't need longer shocks if you add the spacers.

lights are completely different between a Mazada and a Ranger....The '97 Ranager corners wont fit. You would have to swap out the fenders and quite possibliy the header panel.

I was afraid of that. What do you guys think the legal requirement for turn signals is?

I was thinking of just turning my corner lights into turn signals but you can barely see them from the front as only the very edge lights up.

If it does fit ... what do you think that i could do with my turn signals as right now they are in my valance and the new fog valance will not allow this.

What about using your stock signals (or something similar in their place) in your grille or cutting the bumper and putting them in there...? I don't know if it would be legal or not but it would keep your stock wires usable and still be visible.
