If Justin had an E4, I'd put on my gaiters and trek through the junkyard for his parts but he's not worthy of that until he gets a respray lol

Yea, once it's in the shop the lift will come off, and the plan is to sell it as a package deal.
Some of been messaging me about splitting it up. We'll see, a few people have committed to buying the whole thing.

Dropped the truck off tonight and snapped a couple quick pics.
Assembled axles (the cover is white because we were knocking weld spatter off the cover and needed to prime it again)

8.8 tubes are welded

I found out you can't ditch the backing plates and expect to use the ebrake, so I cut the bent ugly stuff off and kept what I needed

My truck is in good hands. Here's another crawler he built get axle shafts replaced

And here's what happens when the engineer building the axle doesn't communicate with the engineer building the axle shafts. (all their shafts are 1" too short) RCV started offering CV axle for Rockwells this year and all their shafts are too short, why they didn't test this beforehand is beyond me

More progress.
Cut the frame, mocked up the buckets and adjustment brackets. I took bonus pics of the cracked rack and pinion.
The axle position in the first pic is where we anticipate it will sit when under it's own weight

Crossmember gone, cleaning the frame was surprisingly difficult, those were welded on there good

Buckets mocked up

Frame marked for cutting

This is where my setup will be unique, I'm going to hide the adjustment brackets inside the framerail with nuts welded on the back

Double post.. newb. Keep up the good work. Do people always notch the frame like that for the buckets? Are you worried about it weakening the frame or anything? Just curious... I'm an SAS newb.
