well guys i got a 3.0 for my friends truck and its a 98 ranger 4x4 5 speed. he has been asking me to swap out his engine since his blew. so i went to a friend of mines house and got a a 3.0 with 70,000 miles for 300. im going to be starting this swap as soon as this noreastern passes me. but i got some pics of the engine ill be swapping in

 

Looks good, just make sure you have a torch for those manifold bolts!

 

thanks i have a torch and a full set of air tools so i think it should go real easy i hope this damn noreastern is gone soon cuz im hoping to get this done before i leave for florida in 5 days

 

okay guys well today we tore the motor in the truck down to the heads . our plan is to have the engine out tommorrow and have the headgaskets and everything replaced on the other engine so by wensday we have it in. but heres some pics
